Safeway.com Delivery as little as $10 for $50 of Groceries!!!

UPDATE, PART 2: We have confirmation that this deal will work as described. Here’s how it will work:
1. Do the order as described and enter the coupon code. Your total will be somewhere around $35.
2. Your BOGO item deductions will be reflected on your final invoice, which arrives with your groceries. Your debit/credit card will be actually charged the amount less the $15 coupon code and BOGO items.
This makes sense to me now. When you check out online, you get an estimated total and it may change based on the actual weight of meat and produce you order. You get the actual total when your groceries are delivered. So, apparently they handle the BOGO deductions in the same manner.
A huge thanks to Linda, Carrie & Steph for helping me figure all of this out!
UPDATE: Something is a bit weird with how Safeway is handling the BOGO items. So hold off on ordering a BOGO scenario while we figure out what’ going on. The other 3 scenarios we posted yesterday will work without a hitch, though, so order away on those! Thanks for your patience!
Brittany has come up with an amazing Safeway.com delivery deal scenario that is just over $11 out-of-pocket.
It looks as though when you add a Buy One, Get One FREE item to your cart, the FREE item is not deducted until checkout, which means you do not actually need your total to be $50 before you enter the $15 off code. Check out Brittany’s BOGO scenario:
Add the following items to your cart:
  • 2 Sara Lee Oven Fresh Pumpkin Pies = $14.38
  • 2 Jimmy Dean Bacons (12oz) = $10.98
  • 2 Thomas Regular English Muffins (12oz) = $8.18
  • 2 Oroweat Double Fiber Breads (24oz) = $9.98
  • 2 Greenline Green Beans Fresh (12oz) = $8.78
Go to checkout. Your total should be $52.30.
Add the coupon code CJSAVINGS to get $15 off plus FREE shipping (-$15)
At some point in the checkout process, the system will deduct the FREE item from the five BOGO sales (-$26.15)
$11.15 after promo code and BOGO sales
Here are several other BOGO delivery sales running right now:
  • Better Oats
  • Jimmy Dean Sausage
  • Pillsbury and Betty Crocker Frosting
  • Fresh Express Salads
  • La Victoria
  • Swanson Broth (32oz)
  • Hefty One Zip
  • Nature Made Vitamins
  • Hebrew National
  • Jimmy Dean Sausage
  • Oscar Mayer Lunchmeat
  • Gold Medal Flour
  • Mezzetta Peppers
  • Ban Deoderant
  • Finesse Shampoo
Go here for three more deal scenarios to help you score big on groceries delivered to your home!

Thanks for the Heads up Frugal Living NW!!

This is what I personally ordered:
2 La Victoria Salsas - 24oz = $9.38
2 Jimmy Dean Bacon Thick 12 oz = $10.98
2 Jimmy Dean Fresh Taste Bacon Cooked 2.2oz = $9.98
2 Jimmy Dean Fresh Taste Fast Patties 9.6 ox = $9.58
2 Jimmy Dean Sausage Crumbles 9.6oz = $9.58
1 Fancy Feast Cat Food 3oz (filler Item to bring my total to $50.10-must be $50 or above to qualify for delivery)

Total = $50.10 (when you add the promo above it subtract $15, it will also subtract the delivery fee if this is your first order with safeways home delivery)

Total after discount = $35.10 (estimate given at checkout, to be adjusted on my final invoice.)
B1G1 reduction ($24.75)
Total spent $10.35!!!!  CRAZY!!!

Also as stated above I signed up for ebates and will get $5 cash back from them = so brings my bottom line down to $5.35!!!  You can barely get ONE POUND OF BACON FOR THAT PRICE!!!
